Good afternoon!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Here is what we are working on this week:

  • Bellwork
  • We are starting a new unit: Global Imperialism!
  • We are analyzing source documents to identify the causes for imperialism.
  • We also are taking a look at how far reaching the British Empire was at the height of imperialism.
  • Friday is our American Heritage Field trip! For students who are staying on campus, they will have an alternative activity.

Friday is the middle school field trip for the American Heritage Festival! I hope everyone is excited, I know I am!

Here is the expected schedule for the trip:

  • Departure from school: 9:30AM, students should arrive at the normal time and report to their first hour.
  • Arrival at the venue: 10AM
  • Departure from the venue: 1:15PM
  • Arrival back at school: 1:45PM

Students should bring their own sack lunches or money for Del Taco which will be the food vendor for the festival. Just remember, the lines will be long if you decide to get food at the festival.

Parents who are chaperoning, please arrive by 9:15AM.
