Greetings, Social Studies!

I hope everyone is having a great week! Here is what we are working on this week:

  • Bellwork
  • We have just finished up our overview of WWI! The students now know the main causes of the war, the spark that began the war and how the war ended.
  • The students are currently working on a project where they either are creating a poster about one of the technological advancements of the war or they are writing a letter home as if they were on the frontline. The students are very excited about this project so make sure to ask them about it!
  • Friday Quiz!

FYI for parents, if you see a missing assignment in Infinite Campus, your child has access to all assignments through Google Classroom. Students have two weeks to complete assignments starting for the day it was assigned. After two weeks it is a zero and cannot be made-up.

Congratulations! Your student has been nominated to participate in our travel program! I believe your child is a great fit to participate in our educational tour to Belize in the summer of 2023! Please attend our informational session to learn more about how your student can earn academic credit when they participate on any of these travel opportunities!
