Honors ELA Update!

Greetings, Honors English!

I hope everyone had an awesome fall break!

Students will be completing the following assignments this week.

-Bellwork (Due Oct. 16)

-Classroom expectations worksheet (Due Oct. 13)

-Discuss Book report projects (Oct. 14)

-Start on class book- Uglies by Scott Westerfield (Oct. 14)

I also wanted to let everyone know what the late or missing work policy is. I went over it with the students yesterday but I wanted to let the parents know as well.

As a school policy, all work will be marked as missing for two weeks and it defaults to 40%. After two weeks, the grade becomes a zero.

One week late: 10% deduction

Two weeks late: 20% deduction

Three weeks late: 30% deduction

Four weeks late: 40% deduction

No late work will be accepted after four weeks. 

Extension: I will work with each individual to reach their full potential. Please reach out if you need an extension.
